NGV Network of Stations Expands in Brittany

The Morbihan NGV / bioGNV station is the second piece of equipment in the network of 20 stations across Brittany supported by Bretagne Mobilité GNV (BMGNV). This brings together the four “Energies de Bretagne” Mixed Economy Societies (SEMs), from the Breton departmental energy unions.

The Saint-Gérand station was built in partnership with the Intermarché group, Pontivy Communauté and the municipality of Saint-Gérand. Located in the Kergouet economic activity zone, on the edge of the RD 768 (Pontivy / Saint-Brieuc axis), it is located less than a kilometre from the Intermarché logistics base in Neulliac. This location should allow transporters and local logisticians to refuel at the station, but also vehicles traveling on the departmental 768 to refuel.

The station, open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, is accessible to all audiences and to all types of vehicles (heavy goods vehicles, vans, coaches, light vehicles). Access to the resort is possible in the form of a subscription, but also by payment by credit card. The gas will be supplied by the company REDEO, located in Pontivy.

The station has 3 simultaneous VL / HGV distribution tracks. It was designed to fill the equivalent of 9 heavy goods vehicles per hour.

The network of NGV / bioNGV stations of the Bretagne Mobilité GNV network will continue to expand in the coming months. After those in Vannes in February 2018 and in Saint-Gérand this month, work on several other stations in the network will begin in September at Caudan (56), Saint-Evarzec (29), Saint-Martin-des-Champs ( 29), Guipavas (29) and Landivisiau (29), thus strengthening the regional distribution network for NGV and bioNGV.
