Thanks to Energie Zürichsee Linth AG and Auto Eberle Eschenbach, the eight players in the Swiss Soccer Promotion League football club, have received Seat Arona cars powered by compress natural gas (CNG) in the club colours red and white.
According to President Rocco Delli Colli: “The players are very satisfied with the CNG cars and they are also much more conscious on the whole. With the Seat Arona with CNG drive, we are trying to make our contribution to more climate protection. The players have started to live more climate-consciously”.
FC Rapperswil-Jona also wants to set an example next to the square. With 901 members, it is one of the largest football clubs in Switzerland – over 500 of them are juniors. And they have role models in the first team not only in terms of football skills and tactical behaviour on the field, but also in terms of climate protection.
In addition to ecological and tax advantages, TGI technology scores with cost savings of at least 30 percent compared to conventional fuels.
