Maruti Suzuki has introduced the FRONX S-CNG in their premium retail channel NEXA, targeting young trailblazers who are both adventurous and environmentally conscious. The new car is powered by the Advanced 1.2L K-Series DualJet, Dual VVT engine, which develops a peak power output of 57kW@6000rpm / 77.5PS@6000rpm and max torque of 98.5Nm@4300rpm in CNG mode. The FRONX S-CNG delivers a segment-best fuel-efficiency of 28.51 km/kg and is available with a 5-speed manual transmission in two variants – Sigma and Delta – with a range of exciting body colour options.
According to Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, the FRONX S-CNG is aimed at customers who are not only trailblazers at heart but also environmentally conscious. The company has sold more than 1.4 million CNG vehicles in the country since 2010, avoiding about 1.44 million metric tons of CO2 emissions. Maruti Suzuki Subscribe, an all-inclusive monthly subscription fee, allows customers to use a new car without owning it. The subscription covers the cost of complete registration, service and maintenance, insurance, and roadside assistance.
