OnTurtle Opens 7 Natural Gas Stations in France and Germany

OnTurtle’s international natural gas network continues to grow steadily with the incorporation of new gas stations, which currently exceed 80 in six countries on the continent. The company recently strengthened their presence in France and Germany with seven new service stations for the supply of LNG to our customers, thanks to an agreement with our supplier Liqvis.

Currently, OnTurtle’s international natural gas network in France already covers the main international professional transport routes, with 31 gas stations strategically distributed in the country. Among the new additions are the service stations of Calais, in the town of Marck, and Bouc-Bel-air. In both cases these are stations marked by Liqvis and adapted for Volvo trucks.

In the first case, Calais-Liqvis is a natural gas station located in a very important enclave for the mobility of goods. Located in the north of France, it stands out for its proximity to the English Channel and the Eurotunnel. Calais is one of the most important ports in the country and in Europe, for its connection with England.

On the other hand, the company’s international natural gas network also adds the bouc-bel-air service station for LNG supply.  Specifically, the new gas station is located in the south of the country, on an urban road a few kilometres from Marseille. The port of Marseille closed the 2019 financial year with a turnover of 169.5 million euros and a growth of 4% over the previous year.

OnTurtle has 13 gas stations in Germany, a figure that will continue to grow in the coming months. On this occasion, the company has opened new LNG supply points for professional transport in Freienbrink, Kassel, Merklingen, Langenhagen and Bönen.

The Merklingen gas station is located in the south of the German country, while Kassel is located in the centre of the country. A little further north, there are petrol stations in Bönen and another in Langenhagen, located a few kilometres from Hanover. The latter, also flagged by Liqvis, offers LNG refuelling and also has basic services for carriers such as cafeteria, shop or toilets. Further northwest, a new service station is incorporated in Freienbrink, near Berlin, also located on the city road. All are stations suitable for Volvo trucks.
