AS 24, a subsidiary of the TOTAL group, inaugurated last week a new CNG station in Villefrance-sur-Saône, France. The new site is part of the GNVolont’Air regional program and will be mainly dedicated to serve professional carriers.
AS 24 station in Villefrance-sur-Saône is equipped with two refuelling lanes and a washing unit. The location is reserved for professionals with a Total or AS 24 membership cards.
“Located closed to the motorway, it will allow transporters to be supplied with natural gas, thus significantly reducing their pollutant emissions” explained to Le Progrès newspaper Jean-Baptiste Maisonneuve, president of the Beaujolais Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Total and AS 24’s gas filling network has grown to 16 stations in France. Total intends to further expand these networks by the end of the year with the opening of half a dozen additional stations.
Founded in 1988 as a sole proprietorship, AS 24 is now a subsidiary of the TOTAL group specialized in fuel sales through cards for transportations professionals. With over 900 AS 24 service stations and more than 15,000 partner stations, the company has established itself as a leading distributor of HGV fuel on European roads.
